Meet Our Chef
Executive Chef Eric Kim fell in love with food at a very young age where he learned to develop his own unique style and flair. A graduate of the Cooking and Hospitality school, he started as a line cook and has continued with his career at exclusive restaurants and private clubs such as Osteria Via Stato, Japonais, Bamboo House, Kemper Lakes Golf Club and Westmoreland Country Club.
Over the years, Eric has worked under influential leaders who helped shape his style and depth of knowledge. His culinary philosophy and passion reflects the growing trend toward "contemporary meets comfort" using flavors from the Far East. Eric learned the skills and gained the knowledge while working and traveling and could not wait to come back home to Chicago to share with everyone. Eric's Bold flavors combined with his clean plate presentations will bring the urban dining experience to the North Shore.
